Brief Description

To work individually and as part of a team, supporting the service manager to ensure the smooth running of the service and to ensure that the people we support are provided with a
safe, caring and stable environment. This is a fantastic oppurtunity to start or develop your career within the Care sector.

Qualifications Required

GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent qualification)

Your apprenticeship will be completed 100% at the workplace.

About the Role

We provides a warm and homely environment for adults with learning disabilities within the local area to enjoy a full range of lifestyle activities and learning opportunities based on their preferences. Situated within a mile of Rushden town centre with good transport links, currently this is a support package which we are hoping to adapt to a supported living environment.

Supporting people with a wide range of needs on a daily basis, we support people with both mild and complex needs, including individuals who have behaviours which others might find challenging and includes personal care duties with addition to house keeping duties. The fully trained, committed team respect the choices and dignity of every individual they support.

You’ll be responsible for supporting an inclusive lifestyle within the community as individuals attend local colleges or day trips out. Develop greater independence and daily living skills by assisting with the upkeep of the service, preparing meals, shopping and domestic duties. Providing help with personal care such as washing, bathing and dressing whilst working across various shift patterns

We are looking for specific shift availability for our new and exciting independent living shift patterns include:

07.45am – 09.15am, Sunday – Sunday
16.30pm – 18.30pm, Monday – Friday
09.30am – 1.30pm on Sundays
09.30am – 10.30am on Saturdays
Additional shifts available aswell as the service expands
