Brief Description

Returns and Stock Control Apprentice

Responsible to: Returns and Stock Control Team Leader
Department: Profit Protection (Returns and Stock Control)
Location: Kingsway Distribution Centre
Hours: Dayshift, 4 on 4 off - permanent

Role Overview:
The purpose of this job is to ensure that all types of Retail, Multichannel and Supplier returns are processed end to end in accordance with company procedures in order to maximise recoveries and minimise loss. Performing a daily PI counts and Audits.

Some of the Key Duties/Responsibilities:

? To unload, breakdown and locate all inbound Returns from both internal and external sources
? To process all Retail return types from across the group.
? To process direct to DC Internet returns
? To undertake various Stock Control duties on a daily basis including Audits and PI counts
? To report any potential quality or product issues to the Management team for review
? To assist with offsite PI counts as and when requested by your line manager when required
? To analyse reports and feedback your findings
? To assist with the ongoing development of colleagues
? Comply with current Health & Safety legislation and company policies and procedures, ensuring a safe work place
? To complete any other adhoc tasks as directed by your line manager in line with current levels of responsibility

Apprenticeship Overview:

The JD Group are working closely with Qube Learning to source and recruit the perfect Apprentice to fit in to an already successful and established team.

Qube Learning are a national training provider who will support you throughout the duration of your Apprenticeship, lasting a total of 15 months. As Returns and Stock Control Apprentice, you will undertake a Customer Practitioner Level 2 apprenticeship. This programme offers a comprehensive development programme supported by high-quality external resources and coaching. This will enable you to develop a rounded knowledge of Customer Services at an intermediate level.

You will be assigned a designated skills tutor, who will support you every step of the way throughout your apprenticeship. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company and kick start your career.
